Electric Training Course Overview
Stage 1: Part P: this course is for any installer who wishes to carry out electrical work on the installation, testing and commissioning of any central heating boiler, heat pump or solar thermal hot water system, or anyone wishing to install, test and commission solar photovoltaic.
Stage 2: Essential Electrics: this course provides a proof of competence under the Electricity at Work Act for those carrying out repairs and maintenance. It is a core element and the mandatory pre-requisite for those wishing to undertake the other electrical courses.
Stage 3: Central Heating Controls Wiring & Fault Finding: this course is designed for those with a gas or mechanical services background wishing to acquire an understanding of the installation and repair of central heating control systems.
