IGQ New Entrants Courses
Ideal for someone looking for entry into the gas industry
Covering all aspects of domestic gas safety, this is recognised by the ACS scheme and Gas Safe. This is an in-depth course designed for new entrants looking to become gas engineers. The course covers health and safety, asbestos awareness, electrical safety and all aspects of natural gas.
LPG Course
Ideal for an already experienced gas engineer to expand their knowledge from working with natural gas to working with liquid petroleum gas (LPG)
For engineers with Natural Gas qualifications a changeover is available covering the differences between the two fuel gases. This course includes any or all of four areas of work, Permanent Dwellings (PD), Residential Park Homes (RPH), Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (LAV) and Boats (B). Covering the installation, servicing, and repair of the appliances in the various situations.
Natural Gas Domestic Refresher Training
Ideal for gas engineers who wish to renew their domestic ACS accreditation
Engineers wishing to attend this course must hold or have previously held an ACS in Domestic Natural Gas.
Short courses of training are available for the engineer who wishes to ensure they are fully prepared for the re-assessment. Training is not compulsory prior to assessments nor is taking a training course a guarantee of success at the assessment.
Domestic Natural Gas
Ideal for an already experienced gas engineer to expand their knowledge
A range of assessments intended for engineers who carry out installation and maintenance work on domestic pipework and appliances. This allows the engineer to demonstrate a full understanding of how to work safely on domestic gas installations.
Domestic LPG Course
Ideal for those that are LPG specific engineers, typically in the leisure industry
For those that are LPG specific engineers, typically in the leisure industry, a full course is available. A range of assessments intended for engineers who carry out installation and maintenance work on domestic pipework and appliances. This course includes any or all of four areas of work, Permanent dwellings (PD), Residential Park Homes (RPH), Leisure Accommodation Vehicles (LAV) and Boats (B). Covering the installation servicing, and repair of the installation and appliances in the various situations.
Underfloor Heating Systems Course
Ideal for gas engineers who wish to broaden their understanding of wed underfloor heating systems
Are you a gas engineer who wants to know more about underfloor heating? Perhaps you are brand new to it; you may have only installed a couple of systems. Or maybe you are well-versed in Underfloor Heating but would like to learn more about the latest technology.
